The countdown to the 11th edition of Wire and Cable Guangzhou has entered its last few weeks with final preparations underway ahead of the fair’s opening at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. Taking place from 11 – 13 June, the 2019 edition of the fair will feature four fringe events that are closely aligned with the needs of the regional cable industry.

Benefiting from economic growth, population expansion and an intensifying aging phenomenon, coupled with everyone’s increasing concern about health issues, the global demand for medical devices is increasing sharply. In North America, it is expected the spending on healthcare will register a growth of 5.9% from 2017 to 2025. In Europe, rising demand for both dental and physical body implants is expected to have a positive impact on the medical plastics industry. In the Middle East and Africa, meanwhile, demand for medical components such as disposable gloves, syringes, and catheters will drive the market.

Wire & Cable Guangzhou is set to take place from 11 – 13 June 2019 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. Benefiting from the Belt and Road Initiative and China’s 13th Five-Year Plan, the 2019 show is projected to exceed the previous edition in terms of scale. Four specialised zones will be present at the show to meet the sourcing requirements of an expected 30,000 professional trade buyers from the electric power, architectural, transportation and property development sectors.
